Our Story
Established in 2025, the mission of The Volunteer State Music Hall of Fame is to honor, preserve, and celebrate the musical heritage of the State of Tennessee, through recognition, education, and public engagement.
Our vision is to provide statewide, genre-inclusive recognition of Tennessee’s rich and diverse musical heritage.
The Volunteer State Music Hall of Fame aspires to establish a permanent Hall of Fame and museum facility in the future, where Tennessee’s rich musical history can be celebrated, preserved, and shared with generations to come.
We are actively building our archival collection and welcome donations of historically significant materials, including recordings, instruments, stage wear, personal items from our inductees, and other memorabilia connected to Tennessee’s musical legacy.
If you would like to contribute to our archives, please contact us through this website to discuss how your items can become part of our permanent collection.
